Paul Cloos is our CSO and joined Inthera in August of 2020. With 10+ years of experience from the biotech industry, and + 10 years as Associate Professor at Copenhagen University Paul has conducted basic science, target discovery and drug development within the field of oncology and epigenetics. His scientific achievements include the discovery and characterization of various histone demethylases, for which he was awarded the Innovation Prize of Copenhagen University in 2011. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Copenhagen University, co-founded the Company Epitherapeutics Aps (sold to Gilead Sciences, Inc.), is inventor of 9 patent families and author of 42 peer-reviewed papers including 3 first authorships in Nature and Cell.
