Kim Andersen, PhD

Head of drug discovery

Kim Andersen is our head of drug discovery since June 2020. With 30+ international years’ experience from pharmaceutical R&D, Kim was leading Lundbeck’s drug discovery organization for more than 10 years and delivered a rich portfolio of small molecule and antibody drug candidates into the Lundbeck pipeline. Kim has experience from operational and strategic leadership positions in Denmark and US with experience across the R&D value chain from lead discovery to clinical development. Kim holds a Master of Science and in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and Ph.D in medicinal chemistry from Copenhagen University.
